Who's Who in Animal Land

Who's Who in Animal Land is an American animated short film part of Lilly Lou from the year 1944.

Action

In the film, among other things, elephants, monkeys, foxes, bison and chinchillas are shown that tell jokes in the style of a newsreel or sing songs. A giraffe is asked how the weather was up with her and replies that the requestor yes could look in on her top. A cow gives at the end of the song Cow Cow Boogie for the best. The action is accompanied by Ken Carpenter as narrator.

Production

Who's Who in Animal Land appeared as part of the popular series of short films Speaking of Animals. Here, taking pictures of animals by rotoscoping were provided with separately filmed mouths and so brought to the " Talk ". The film was released on 27 December 1944. Other parts of the series, which ran from 1941 to 1949, for example, were the Oscar-nominated short film Down on the Farm and the Oscar-winning film Speaking of Animals and Their Families.
