The Day of the Damned ( Original: Amanecer Puerta Oscura a ) is a Spanish- Italian adventure film with clear religious undertones, which was directed by José Maria Forqué 1957. He was also grants under the Alternative title whom God and shown on television as The Wretched of the Sierra.

Action

In Spanish mountain country of the 19th century a Brigantentrio is arrested after arduous chase murder suspect. Since this arrest happened during Lent, the three suspects is after the religious customs of the area around Malaga possible to participate in the procession of Wednesday in Holy Week.
