Wicked Weasel

Wicked Weasel is an Australian company that specializes in the manufacture of close-cut swimwear (eg Mikrokinis ) and Lingerie has specialized for women.

The company was founded in 1994 by Peter Gifford, formerly the bass guitarist of Midnight Oil and named after the nickname of his girlfriend. Gifford opened the first shop in 1995 in Cairns. 1996, moved to Byron Bay and forms there ever since the company's headquarters. Additional stores in Bondi and Melbourne were not initially successful, and were closed in 1998 again.

On 24 June 1999, the site went online wickedweasel.com for Australian swimwear as the first online store. Already in 2003, the company established itself as the largest Australian online retailer of clothing. Due to the success, in December 2007, a branch office in Sydney, and later opened a branch in Melbourne again. The end of 2007 showed the site daily to over 100,000 visitors.
