Bondi, New South Wales

Bondi is a suburb of the Australian city of Sydney, New South Wales, and is located about seven kilometers east of the Central Business District ( Downtown) in the Waverley Council. Bondi is largely residential area mid to high standard with a main shopping street, Bondi Road. In the district live 9,358 inhabitants ( 2006).

The commercial center of this area is located in the adjacent suburb of Bondi Junction. Of great importance is the famous Bondi Beach, which is close to and in the neighboring district of the same name.
