Bondi Junction, New South Wales

Bondi Junction is a neighborhood of the Australian city of Sydney with just 8,000 inhabitants ( 2006) and is located about five kilometers east of downtown. Bondi Junction has a large bus station, from where buses to the city center and numerous beaches. In addition, Bondi Junction is the terminus of the CityRail line " Eastern Suburbs and Illawarra ".

Bondi Junction has a small pedestrian zone with its many shops, restaurants and street cafes. Similarly, there is a new large shopping center. Bondi Junction is an attractive place for students and young voice tourists as it is close to the famous Bondi Beach and has good connections in Sydney's center. Several international language schools are located in this district.

In Bondi Junction is also the administrative seat of Waverley Council, but the western end of the district is located in Woollahra.
