Willi Stadel

Wilhelm Friedrich Stadel ( born July 9, 1912 in Konstanz, † March 23, 1999 in Ravensburg, Germany ) was a German gymnast. His home club was the 1862 TV Constance.

At the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin, he was with the German team Olympic champion in the team all-around. In addition, he won a total of eight individual titles at the German Championships. He won in 1940 on the parallel bars and high bar, 1941 in the individual all-around, parallel bars, pommel horse on, in the floor exercise and stretching, and again in 1950 on the horizontal bar.

Named after him is the Willi - Stadel - hall on the Mettnau.
