William J. Winter

William Joseph Winter ( born May 20, 1930 in Pittsburgh) is a retired auxiliary bishop of Pittsburgh.

Life

William Joseph Winter received on 17 December 1955, the ordination.

Pope John Paul II appointed him on 21 December 1988 as Titular Bishop of Uthina and Auxiliary Bishop of Pittsburgh. He received his episcopal consecration of the Bishop of Pittsburgh, Donald William Wuerl, on February 13 of next year; Co-consecrators were the Auxiliary Bishops Anthony Gerard Bosco and John Bernard McDowell.
