Williams (lunar crater)

Williams is a lunar impact crater on the northeast front, on the northern edge of the Lacus Somniorum, west of the crater Cepheus and south of Hercules. The rim is heavily eroded and flooded in the northern part.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the English amateur astronomer Arthur Stanley Williams.
