Willy Gervin

Willy Viggo Gervin ( born November 28, 1903 in Copenhagen, † July 8, 1951 in Roskilde ) was a Danish racing cyclist.

In the UCI Track World Championships 1929 in Zurich Willy Gervin finished third in the sprint of the amateurs. In the same year he became Danish champion in this discipline. In 1930, he was first in the 1000 -meter time trial at the Scandinavian Championships.

1931 Gervin was vice-champion of the amateur sprinters at the track world championships in Copenhagen. At the Olympic Games 1932 in Los Angeles, he won together with Harald Christensen bronze in the tandem race. In the sprint, he retired in the quarterfinals.
