Wilshire Grand Tower

Wilshire Grand Tower is a skyscraper under construction in Los Angeles, California. The construction project consists of two office towers. The higher is expected to reach a height of 335 meters according to the current plans. That means it would be the highest on the West Coast of the United States and in Los Angeles and would surpass the U.S. Bank Tower (310 meters). For project presentation, a height of 381 meters was even provided.

The building is equipped with 73 modern office floors and thus provide new office space in Downtown Los Angeles available. Construction took place in November 2013 as the opening date has been called by the project developers Thomas Properties and Korean Air 2017. The architectural firm AC Martin & Partners is responsible for the study. The official approval for the construction of the building complex was granted in March 2011. However, had for its construction still an older building to be demolished, what happened in October 2012.
