Wilson Benge
George Frederick " Wilson " Benge ( born March 1, 1875 in Greenwich, London, † July 1, 1955 in Hollywood, California ) was a British actor.
Life
Wilson Benge played from 1922 until his death in 1955 at around 200 Hollywood films, with most of his roles were rather small. Usually, he was cast in the role of British Butlers or other staff, such as an usher, doorman or waiter. He entered several times with Laurel and Hardy as well as in the Sherlock Holmes series with Basil Rathbone. In addition to his film work, he was also a stage actor and director.
