Wilson da Silva Piazza

Wilson da Silva Piazza ( born February 25, 1943 in Ribeirão das Neves, Minas Gerais State, Brazil ) is a former Brazilian footballer.

The central defender Piazza came in 1964 to the Brazilian top club Cruzeiro Belo Horizonte. For this club he played until his retirement end 1979. With Cruzeiro, he won, among others, the 1966 Brazilian Cup, the Taça Brasil, and 1976 in the finals against River Plate of Argentina in the Copa Libertadores.

On June 25, 1967, he made ​​his debut in the Brazilian national football team, where he served as captain immediately in a newly formed team. He also held in the following two games this function, but were only very sporadic operations thereafter.
