Winkler Prins

Winkler Prins is the best known and most detailed printed encyclopedia in the Dutch language area.

Your first edition appeared in 1870-1882. Writer was the Dutch minister Anthony Winkler Prins. Probably the last ( ninth ) edition on paper was published in 1990-1993 in 26 volumes. Your digitized version, which was developed in collaboration with Microsoft called Winkler Prins Encarta. According to original plans for a tenth edition of the Spectrum - Verlag 2008 announced to issue no more printed output. Since 2010, three online versions under the name Grote Winkler Prins online and junior Winkler Prins online and Winkler Prins study are available online.
