Witchcraft (band)

Witchcraft is a Founded in 2000, Swedish doom metal band from Örebro. They stand at the indie label Rise Above Records and have so far recorded three studio albums there.

History

Witchcraft was founded in 2000 by Magnus Pelander ( Norrsken ) to take a Pentagram tribute album. In 2002, she released her first single No Angel or Demon at Primitive Art Records. Shortly thereafter, they were taken from Rise Above Records, where finally in 2004 their self-titled debut album was released. In 2005 he published their second album, Firewood. In early 2006, they should go on tour with Monster Magnet. However, this failed due to drug problems of Monster Magnet frontman Dave Wyndorf. In the fall, however, was followed by a U.S. tour with Danava. In October 2007, finally released their third album, The Alchemist.
