Witolub

Witolub ( German chickens Heide) is a residential place in the city Karlino ( Körlin ) in Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship.

Geographical location

The living space is located in Eastern Pomerania, about three to four kilometers northeast of Karlino. It consists of a group of houses on both sides of the road to Świemino ( Schwemmin ). On the northern edge of this group of houses of the living space Dębolas ( Forest Town Forest) is located.

Witolub part of the mayor's office Karlinko ( Vorwerk Körlin ) in the Gmina Karlino ( urban and rural community Körlin ). With this, it is part of the powiat Białogardzki ( Belgarder circle) of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship.

History

Mostly in the middle of the 19th century on the belonging to Körlin Stadtfeld several single standing houses, so-called deconstructions. These were first summarized in 1885 under the name chicken Heath.

The name itself appeared in the notation " Hünerheide " already in 1784 in Ludwig Wilhelm Brüggemann's detail description of the current state of the Royal Prussian Duchy pros and Pomerania. There he called a " royal official 's husbandry ", ie a Vorwerk with arable economy, which was in communion with the urban field.

Up to 1945 chickens Heath belonged to the city Körlin and with this the district Kolberg- Körlin in the Prussian province of Pomerania.

In 1945, the place, like all Hinterpommern found under Polish administration. The population was replaced by Poland. Chicken Heath received the Polish name Witolub.
