Wizards & Warriors

Wizards & Warriors is the title of a series of Jump 'n' Run games for Nintendo consoles. You play in a fantasy environment. Three parts published for the Nintendo Entertainment System, a part for the Game Boy. The games were developed by Rare and distributed by Acclaim.

In the games of the Knights Kuros must solve various tasks in medieval castles. The second part had the additional title Iron Sword, the Game Boy spinoff Fortress of Fear and the third part Kuros: Visions of Power.

History

The first part was published in 1987 by Acclaim for the NES in the U.S.. 1988, a Japanese version of this was published under the title伝説 の 騎士 エルロンド( Densetsu no Kishi Elrond ) of the company Jaleco Ltd.; In 1990, a European version on the market. 1989 appeared the second part called Iron Word Wizards & Warriors II NES, 1990 Wizards & Warriors Chapter X: The Fortress of Fear Game Boy and 1992 Wizards & Warriors III: Kuros - Visions of Power for NES.
