Wladimir Belli
Wladimir Belli ( born July 25, 1970 in Sorengo ) is an Italian former racing cyclist.
Wladimir Belli won the 1990 U23 edition of the Giro d' Italia, the Baby Giro. He began his professional career in 1992 with the Italian cycling team Lampre. He went there for five years, and could regularly get good rankings in the Giro d' Italia. His next stop was Ceramiche Panaria. In one year he won the Giro del Trentino and the Giro dell'Appennino and participated for the first time at the Tour de France in part. The Giro d' Italia 1997, he drove for Brescialat and finished him in sixth place, his best result. The following year, he joined the French team Festina. At the Tour de France he cut off outstanding; he finished in ninth place overall. In 2000 he joined the team Fassa Bortolo by Giancarlo Ferretti and finished the Giro in seventh place. He also won a stage of the Tour de Suisse and the Gran Premio Città di Camaiore in the same year.
