Wolgastsee

The Wolgastsee is lying on the island of Usedom lake in the district of Vorpommern - Greifswald, Mecklenburg- Vorpommern, on the border with Poland.

The lake is located south of the seaside resort Ahlbeck in the municipality of Korswandt. It has a length of approximately 1.4 kilometers, a width of 0.45 km and an average depth of 4.1 meters. The lake was created in the last ice age. The bank offers many seabirds an ideal breeding and resting area. The lake is almost completely surrounded by forest with book inventory. With its charming scenic environment, it is an attraction for tourism. Around the lake a signposted hiking and cycling trails.
