Wolica, Sanok County

Wolica is a village in the municipality Bukowsko powiat Sanocki in the Subcarpathian Voivodeship, Poland.

It is located in a wooded, hilly area in the far southeast of Poland on the road in the direction of Bukowsko Sanok. In the vicinity is the Bach Sanoczek.

As an old spellings of Wolica are also about 1435 sancti Petri aka Wolicza 1441 Wolicza villa sancti Petri, 1450 Wolicza sancti Petri, 1453 Wolicza Superior alias ad sanctum Petrum 1471 Volycza alias ad sanctum Petrum, Wyrzchna Vola 1553 Wolicza Inferior et Superior [ MK 83 k 229 ] 10 km SW na od Sanoka.

From 1975 - 1998 the village belonged to Krosno Voivodeship.
