The Wollondilly River is a river in the Australian state of New South Wales. He was originally a tributary of the Coxs River, where it becomes the Warragamba River. Today it ends in Lake Burragorang which arose in 1960 by the damming of the Warragamba River and the largest artificial lake in the Sydney area ensures the water supply of the city.

The Wollondilly River rises approximately 7 km east of Crookwell '' '' and initially flows southward to the vicinity of Pomeroy. There he spent his run to the southeast and then east to Goulburn, where it receives the Mulwaree River. In Towrang he sets his running away to the northeast and takes at Bullio the Wingecarribee River on. From there, the river flows north through Barralier, where he describes a loop to the west, in the Blue Mountains National Park. Shortly before its confluence with the Lake Burragorang still leads the Jooriland a River. Its total length is 269 km.

The Local Government Area Wollondilly Shire was named after the river.
