Wondreb

The Wondreb ( Czech Odrava ) is a 58.4 km long right or southern tributary of Eger in Germany and the Czech Republic. The name is of Slavic origin Wondreb.

Course

The two headwaters of Wondreb, Niklas Bach and Griesbach, spring a few miles west of the Bavarian-Czech border in the Upper Palatinate Stiftland ( Tirschenreuth ).

After the confluence of the Wondreb runs in an arc - initially in a north-westerly, then north and finally north-east - by the county Tirschenreuth, where it passes some former iron hammer and mills and flows through the towns of Wondreb, Great Lake, Forest Assen, dog Bach and Schloppach.

Then it flows to the Czech Republic, where the right side of the Stary Hrozňatov ( Altkinsberg ) coming Mohelský Potok ( Muglbach ) flows. Then, the river feeds the east of Cheb ( Eger) located Jesenice. The Wondreb flows past Obilná and Odrava and flows Mostov ( Mostau ) in the Eger.
