Works Volume I is a double album in 1977 published the progressive rock band Emerson, Lake & Palmer. Each of the three band members released on one side of the two plates separate pieces. On the fourth side to find common songs.

Since the album was released four years after the last, very successful studio album, Brain Salad Surgery, presented the fans high demands on the album. However, many were disappointed as the album stylistically very different from the previous one. On page 1 there is a book written by Keith Emerson and recorded with the London Philharmonic Orchestra Piano Concerto. The Page 2 of Greg Lake contains Acoustic Ballads, of which he had the most co-written by Peter Sinfield. The page Carl Palmer was considered the best of the individual musicians, because it contains, among others, a version of the song tank from the first album. On the fourth side, the band presented the two long songs Pirates and a new version of Aaron Copland's Fanfare for the Common Man.
