World Classic Rockers

The World Classic Rockers (short WCR ) are a rock supergroup, founded in 1995 by Nick St. Nicholas of the rock band Steppenwolf. The cast changed constantly, depending on the availability of the individual musicians.

The first appearance of the WCR was December 10, 1995 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The members at that time were next to St. Nicholas ( bass, vocals ) Bobby Kimball of Toto (vocals) and Joey Molland of Badfinger (guitar, vocals), Richard Ward (keyboards), Rosilee (vocals), Mike Younce (drums) and Kurt Griffey (guitar) as an additional band musicians. The three joined Mike Pinera and his Classic Rock All-Stars in order to participate in the Harley -Davidson Toys for Tots Tour.

Over time, played in the WCR such well-known musicians such as Denny Laine, Donovan, John Fiddler, Spencer Davis and Aynsley Dunbar, just to name a few.
