World Federation of Independent Scouts

The World Federation of Independent Scouts ( WFIS ) is an international umbrella organization of Boy Scouts. Founded in 1996 in Laubach, Germany. Your goal is to be a global umbrella organization for Scouts who are not members of any other Scout World Organization to establish contacts between scouts on bearings, head of training and Jamborees and contribute to their care.

In the WFIS more than 50 Scout associations from about 40 different countries are now organized with about 35,000 members. To facilitate the cooperation WFIS is organized into regional associations.
