Wretch 32

Wretch 32 ( born March 9, 1985 in London, real name Jermaine Scott ) is a British grime rapper and MC from North London.

Career

Wretch 32 is from the London borough of Tottenham, originate in the others, the Grime musician Skepta, Chipmunk and Jme. In the 2000s he joined the grime collectives Combination Chain Gang and The Movement and drew attention to himself through his mixtapes. About 15,000 copies of his self-produced tapes he sold in the area in which he lives. End of the decade the label Ministry of Sound signed him. The BBC prophesied then in the Sound of 2011 poll breakthrough for 2011. In January of this year his debut single Traktor, who brought it immediately ranked 5 in the UK charts appeared. Three months later, Unorthodox, a collaboration with rapper Example, it even managed to place 2.
