Wróblik, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship

Wróblik ( German sparrow ) is a village in the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship and is part of the gmina (Town ) Lidzbark Warmiński ( Heilenberg ) in a circle Lidzbark Warmiński.

Geographical location

Wróblik located on the eastern shore of All (Polish: Łyna ) and ten kilometers southwest of the county town Lidzbark Warmiński ( Heilenberg ) on a side street, the (in this section of the German Empire Road 134) leads from Łaniewo ( Launau ) to the Polish national road 51. Until 1945 the station was on Łaniewo Launau (Polish: Łaniewo ) rail connection to the track Schlobitten (now Polish: Słobity ) Wormditt ( Orneta ) Rastenburg ( Kętrzyn ) Angerburg ( Węgorzewo ), which is no longer practiced today.

Wróblik is located at kilometer 53 of the 237 km long " Copernicus trail " (Polish: Szlak Kopernikowski ( pieszy ) ), which leads from Olsztyn ( Olsztyn ) about Frombork ( Mrs. Castle ) until after Kępki ( Zeyer ) near Elbląg ( Elbing ).

History

The little sparrow until 1945 called estate village was built in 1874 in the newly established office district Reichenberg (today Polish: Kraszewo ) incorporated. He belonged to the circle of salvation mountain in the district of Königsberg the Prussian province of East Prussia. In 1910 lived in Sperling's 59 inhabitants.

On September 30, 1928 sparrow lost its independence and was in the rural community Launau ( Łaniewo ), the District Reimerswalde ( Ignalina ) belonging, incorporated.

As a result of the Second World War came sparrow with the southern East Prussia to Poland and received the Polish name " Wróblik ". Today Wróblik forms a mayor's office ( sołectwo ) within the Gmina Lidzbark Warmiński in powiat Lidzbarski within the Warmia - Mazury ( Olsztyn Voivodeship 1975-1998 ). The village life is shaped by the residents of the manor state farm (PGR - Państwowe Gospodarstwo Rolne ).

Church

Prior to 1945, belonged to the majority Catholic population of sparrow to the parish in Reimerswalde (Polish: Ignalin ) in the diocese of Warmia, while the Protestant population part of the parish of salvation (in Polish: Lidzbark Warmiński ) was assigned to the parish of Brown Mountain within the Ecclesiastical Province of East Prussia the Church of the Old Prussian Union. The reference to the Catholic parish in Ignalin has remained since 1945. Now part of the Office of the Dean Lidzbark Warmiński in the Archdiocese of Warmia the Catholic Church in Poland. The evangelical church members now belong to the Diocese of the Evangelical Lutheran Church Mazury in Poland.
