Wronczyn, Gmina Pobiedziska

Wronczyn is a village in the municipality Pobiedziska powiat Poznanski in the Greater Poland Voivodeship in west-central Poland. The place is located about 6 km north- west of Pobiedziska and 20 km north-east of the regional capital Poznań.

History

The place was after the Third Partition of Poland in 1793 to the circle Schroda and from January 4, 1900 for float - East District. He had 1910 321 inhabitants. The Gemeindelexikon for the Kingdom of Prussia from 1905 are five inhabited households on 80 ha area with 38 inhabitants for Wronczyn Hauland and 14 households to 674 ha with 218 inhabitants for the Gutsbezirk Wronczyn. A total of 253 residents consisted of 15 German -speaking Protestants, 241 Polish-speaking Catholics. The Protestant church belonged to the parish Pudewitz, the Catholic Parish Wronczyn. Between 1939 to 1945 the place was known as backwater.

In 1975 to 1998, the town belonged to the Province of Posen.
