Wudongde Dam

The Wudongde hydroelectric power plant (Chinese乌 东德 水电站/乌 东德 水电站) is a planned by the China Yangtze Three Gorges Project Development Corporation gigantic hydroelectric plant on the lower Jinsha Jiang, the upper reaches of the Yangtze River, on the border between the provinces of Sichuan ( circle Huidong ) and Yunnan ( circle Luquan ) in southwest China. The dam is located in the section between Luchelin陆 车 林and Wudongde乌 东德. It is expected that work on Baihetan and Wudongde begin in 2009 and will be completed in 2020.
