Xavier Gens

Xavier Gens (* April 27, 1975 in Dunkirk, France ) is a French film director and screenwriter.

Life

Xavier Gens did not go to film school but gained his knowledge as an intern and assistant in various film productions. This was followed by first rolling of commercials and short films. With Au petit matin he won at the Film Festival of Cognac in 2006 the prize for best short film. With his first feature-length film Frontières ( s ) for which he also wrote the script, he attracted international attention. Not least, this stir and the intercession of Luc Besson, who served as co- producer on Frontières ( s ), he also owed the director's post in the video game adaptation of Hitman. In 2012 he directed the James Wan -produced horror thriller House of Horror and slasher Michael Biehns The Farm.
