Yacine Brahimi

Yacine Brahimi (born 8 February 1990 in Paris) is a French- Algerian football player who is currently with Stade Rennes under contract. It can be used in addition to the preferred position of the playmaker on the wings.

Career

Brahimi, grew up as the son of Algerian immigrants in Paris and began his career at the age of seven years at the club ASB suburb of Montreuil. After three years he moved in 2000 to CO Vincennois. While he attended the sports boarding school at Clairefontaine between 2003 and 2006, he played from 2004 for Paris St. Germain. In 2006 he moved to the youth department of Stade Rennes and three years later loaned to Clermont Foot to get more match practice. On the first day of the 2009/2010 season he played his first competitive match in professional football in Ligue 2 AC Arles- Avignon against. On September 25 the same year he scored his first league goal from the penalty spot. After the end of the season he returned to Rennes. For Rennes he ran until 2012. This year it was awarded to the Spanish side Granada CF.

With the French U-19 national team, he participated in the U-19 Football Championship in 2007, where he was able to achieve two goals. For the French U-21 national team, he came so far nine times used.
