Yadong County

Yadong ( Tib: big mo rdzong, Tibetan: གྲོ་མོ་རྫོང་, also: Dromo Dzong; amtl. also: Chomo ) is a county of the district of Shigatse in the extreme south of the Tibet Autonomous Region of the People 's Republic of China. It has an area of 4306 km ² and had 12.189 inhabitants in late 2007.

Administrative Divisions

At the community level, the circuit is composed of two large municipalities and five municipalities. These are ( official spelling / Chinese):

• Greater community Shiasima (下 司马 镇), the seat of county government;
• Greater community Pagri (帕里 镇);
• Community Gerru (吉 汝 乡);
• Community Kambu (康布 乡);
• Community Rübunggang (上 亚东 乡);
• Community Tuena (堆 纳 乡)
• Community Xia Yadong (下 亚东 乡).
