Yakovkin (crater)

Yakovkin is an impact crater on the southwestern edge of the lunar front side, to the west of the crater Phocylides and northwest of pingre. The rim is eroded, the interior largely flat.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1985 after the Russian astronomer Avenir Alexandrovich Jakowkin.
