Yaroslav Pryriz

Jarosław Pryriz CSsR, Ukrainian: Ярослав Приріз, ( born March 30, 1963 in Lastivka ) is Bishop of Sambir - Drohobytsch.

Life

Mykhajlo Sabryha CSsR ordained him priest on December 4, 1988 and in 1994 he joined the Congregation of the Redemptorists at. Pope Benedict XVI. appointed him on 2 March 2006 as Auxiliary Bishop in Sambir - Drohobytsch and Titular Bishop of Auzia.

The Archbishop of Kiev and Major Archbishop of Lviv, Lubomyr Cardinal Husar MSU, consecrated him on April 29th of the same year the bishop; Co-consecrators were Mykhajlo Sabryha C.Ss.R., Bishop of Ternopil - Sboriw, and Julian Woronowsky MSU, Bishop of Sambir - Drohobytsch.

On 21 April 2010 he was appointed Coadjutor Bishop of Sambir - Drohobytsch. After the retirement Julian Woronowskys MSU he followed him on 27 October 2011 by the Bishop of Sambir - Drohobytsch.
