Yasuko Hashimoto

Yasuko Hashimoto (Japanese桥本 康 子, Yasuko Hashimoto; born August 12, 1975 in Motomiya ) is a Japanese long-distance runner who became known in Germany through their victory at the Berlin Marathon in 2003.

Her other successes over this distance, she won the Nagoya Marathon: a fifth place in 2003, a fourth place in 2005 ( in her personal best of 2:25:21 ), a sixth place in 2006, and finally a 2007 victory in 2:28:49. In 2003 and 2004 she won the Kagawa Marugame Half Marathon.

In a marathon, the World Athletics Championships 2007 in Osaka she won the 23th Place.
