Yasunori Mitsuda

Yasunori Mitsuda (Japanese光 田 康 典; Mitsuda Yasunori, born January 21, 1972 in Tokuyama (now Shunan ) ) is a Japanese composer and musician. He became famous for his music for video games, such as Chrono Trigger and Mario Party.

Biography

After he had been inspired by film music and the composer Henry Mancini, he moved to Tokyo to attend a music school there. He was allowed to participate in a series of appearances, so he got a glimpse into the music business.

With the help of Final Fantasy composer Nobuo Uematsu he received in April 1992, a point in the sound design team of Square, now Square Enix.

He added first a music of other composers in video games. After a conversation with Square Vice President Hironobu Sakaguchi 1994, he joined the "Chrono Trigger " team. In all, he composed 54 soundtracks for this game.
