Martha Maria Yeardley Smith ( born July 3, 1964 in Paris ) is an American actress and voice actress. She is known as the English voice of Lisa Simpson in the Simpsons. Yeardley Smith is the daughter of JY Smith, a journalist from the Washington Post.
