Yener KarahanoÄŸlu

Yener Karahanoğlu (* 1946 in Erzurum, Erzurum Province ) is a former Turkish admiral, who was most recently 2005-2007 Commander in Chief of the Navy ( Türk Deniz Kuvvetleri ).

Life

After schooling Karahanoğlu entered the Naval Academy ( Deniz Harp Okulu ) and graduated in 1966 as a midshipman from. After he found uses in various naval units and eventually became an officer in 1976 and ship commander in the fleet command, before joining in 1978 as an officer listener into the Naval Academy ( Deniz Harp Akademisi ).
