Yerington is the administrative seat of Lyon County in the U.S. state of Nevada. In 2004 lived according to counts of the city Yerington 2902 inhabitants in the city. The city is named after Henry Marvin Yerington († 1910), who was 1868-1910 Superintendent of Virginia and Truckee Railroad.
