Yoko Kamio

Yōko Kamio (Jap.神 尾 叶子, Kamio Yōko; born June 29, 1966) is a Japanese manga artist.

You did an apprenticeship as a secretary. Soon they turned to the manga drawing and published some short stories in manga magazines for girls. After the five-volume series Merii -san no hitsuji she landed Hana Yori Dango 1992 in Japan a huge success. The manga has sold over 50 million copies, making it the most commercially successful shōjo manga in Japan. He was implemented as anime and television series and ended in 2004 after over 5600 pages. Since 2005 she is working on Cat Street for the magazine Bessatsu Margaret.

For Hana Yori Dango she received the 1996 Shogakukan Manga Award.
