Yolande Bavan

Yolande Bavan ( born June 1, 1940 in Ceylon ) is a Sri Lankan native, American jazz singer and actress. She was from 1962 to 1964 a member of Lambert, Hendricks & Bavan.

Life

Yolande Bavan comes from Sri Lanka today and toured at the beginning of her career with Graeme Bell's band through Australia and Asia. She became famous when she replaced Annie Ross in the vocal group Lambert, Hendricks & Ross. Bavan made ​​three live albums with the ensemble, which changed its name now under the group name Lambert, Hendricks & Bavan.
