Mario & Yoshi is a puzzle game similar to the game Tetris, which was published in 1991 and 1992 by Nintendo for the NES and Game Boy. In Japan, it was released in late 1991 under the title Yoshi no Tamago (Japaneseヨッシー の たまごabout ' Yoshi's Egg '), in the United States in 1992 as Yoshi and the end of 1992 as Mario & Yoshi in Europe. Between March and July 2007, the NES version was released for the Wii Virtual Console.

Gameplay

Below the screen is Mario holding two trays in hand. From top covers various quadrilaterals with monsters down there. It must always be brought together two of the same monster, so they dissolve. With the A button, Mario moved his tray, so that the stacks are possible under this monster when this fall. Sometimes egg shells fall down. It must ever an upper half and a lower half, are in the correct order mind you, brought together and there is a small Yoshi.   • At 1-3 figures a Yoshi (100 points )
  • At 4 to 5 figures a wing - Yoshi ( 200 points )
  • 6 figures in a stars - Yoshi (500 points).

Republication

On September 1, 2011 Mario & Yoshi appeared as part of the so-called ambassadors program for the 3DS, where it can be downloaded through the eShop. Through the Ambassador Program Nintendo 3DS offers first-time buyers 20 free games, including ten for the NES and ten Game Boy Advance, which should be available end of this year. This Nintendo responded to the sharp price reduction in the 3DS, which took place on August 12.
