Yoshie Takeshita

Yoshie Takeshita (竹 下 佳 江jap, Takeshita Yoshie, born 18 March 1978 in Kitakyushu ) is a Japanese volleyball player. She participated in three Olympic Games and won the bronze medal in 2012.

Career

Takeshita began her career at the Shiranuijoshi High School. In 1995 she won the World Youth Championship with the Japanese youth. A year later she came to NEC Red Rockets. In 1997, she was with her club Japanese master. In addition, the setter debuted in the Japanese national team, with which they each took third place in the Asian Cup in 1997 and 1999. In 2000, she again won the national championship. According to the vice Cup 2002 Takeshita moved to its current association JT Marvelous. The following year she was second in the Asia Cup with Japan.
