Yoshiharu Habu
Yoshiharu Habu (Japanese羽 生 善 治, Habu Yoshiharu; born September 27, 1970) is a professional Japanese Shogi player and chess FIDE Master.
Biography
Shogi
Habu began his career as a professional Shogi 1985. His teacher is Tatsuya Futakami. The 9th Dan, he reached in 1994. Oyama won until March 2009 80 title. From 14 February to 30 July 1996, he won all seven Grand Slam singles titles ( Ryu - oh, Meijin, Kisei, Oi, Oza, Kioh and Osho ).

Chess
Habu is also considered one of the best Japanese chess player and has an Elo rating of 2404 (as of November 2009). If he was not inactive in chess, he would thus lead the Japanese Elo ranking.
