Yōsuke Kon

Yosuke Kon (Japanese今 洋 佑, Yosuke Kon, born 21 September 1978) is a Japanese hockey player who is known since 2002 at the Ōji Eagles of the Asia League Ice Hockey under contract.

Career

Yosuke Kon began his career as a hockey player at Seibu Tetsudo Tokyo, for which he was active from 2001 to 2003 in the Japan Ice Hockey League. He then played three years for the Kokudo Ice Hockey Club in the newly established Asia League Ice Hockey, where he continued with Kokudo aground in the Japan Ice Hockey League in the first year in parallel. The Center for the Seibu Prince Rabbits From 2006 to 2009 occurred in the Asia League, before joining the Ōji Eagles. In the season 2010/11 the shooter was left with 45 assists, the best assist provider in the league. The following season he won the championship title with the Eagles of the Asia League.

Internationally

For Japan, Kon participated in the World Championships in 2000, 2002, 2003 and 2004 and at the World Championships Division I 2005, 2006, 2008, 2009 and 2010 in part. In addition, he was in his country's squad at the Asian Winter Games in Changchun in 2007 and 2011 in Astana. In the Asian Winter Games in 2007 he won with his team the gold in the Asian Winter Games in 2011 the silver medal.
