Øystein Grødum

Øystein Grødum (* February 15, 1977 ) is a specialized long-haul Norwegian speed skater.

The for the Arendal S.K. launching Øystein Grødum debuted in November 1998 at the World Cup in Hamar. Three times Grødum has so far (November 2006) to win the World Cup, including one with the team. There are also four more second places. Twice he was Norwegian champion, runner-up another 12 times or third parties. He missed his greatest success in fourth just barely on the 10,000 - meter track at the Olympic Games in Turin. On the 5000 - meter course he was also eighth. At times, he was trained by star coach Peter Mueller.

He lives together with the Norwegian speed skater Annette Bjelkevik and athlete ambassador of development organization Right to Play.
