Y&T
Y & T ( Yesterday & Today ) is a hardware which was founded in 1974 in San Francisco ( California ) rock, heavy metal and glam metal band. In the 1970s, they played musical regional only a part. With the change to A & M Records in 1981 began for the band several years of success with several gold records and a single on the Billboard Hot 100
Founding members of Y & T were Dave Meniketti ( singer and lead guitar ), Leonard Haze ( drums), Phil Kennemore (bass guitar ), and Joey Alves ( rhythm guitar). In the eighties, Alves was replaced by John Nyman, which had been active as a songwriter in addition Meniketti. The best-known title of Y & T Summertime Girls (a title which was often used in the American television series Baywatch and in 1985 was listed at # 55 on the Billboard Hot 100) and Mean Streak. The band split in 1990, reformed, however - though not in the original cast - some years later.

Because of his lung cancer Phil Kennemore was replaced for the current tour by Brad Lang ( Jet Red ). Know More died on 7 January 2011 from cancer.
