Yu Hirayama

Yū Hirayama (Japanese平 山 优, Hirayama Yū; born July 25, 1985 in Miyagi Prefecture ) is a Japanese badminton player.

Career

Yū Hirayama attended the Catholic St. Ursula middle and high school in Sendai, as her teammates later Ayaka Takahashi Misaki and Matsutomo (only high-school level), and then the prestigious Waseda University. She plays for the corporate team of Nihon Unisys.

Yū Hirayama won the 2009 women's singles competition at the Swedish International Stockholm. At the World Cup in 2006 she divorced the other hand, from as early as the first round in the 2009 World Cup in the second round. In the Uber Cup 2006, she was fifth with the Japanese women's team, four years later a third party. In the Bitburger Open 2009 and the Vietnam Open 2007 they defeated each in the finals.
