Yuliya Galysheva

Julija Evgenevna Galyschewa (Russian Юлия Евгеньевна Галышева; born 23 October 1992 in Öskemen ) is a Kazakh freestyle skier. She specializes in the moguls and dual moguls mogul disciplines.

Biography

Galyschewa took part in the European Cup from March 2006 and reached in February 2008, the first two victories at this stage. Her debut in the World Cup they had in Méribel, where she reached the 19th place in Dual Moguls Competition on 18 December 2008. At the 2009 World Championships in Inawashiro she managed eleventh place in the moguls competition, the hitherto best classification. In the subsequent World Cup season 2009/10 they came the first time in the top ten, at the Olympic Winter Games 2010, she was again Eleventh.

On 15 December 2010 Galyschewa scored the first World Cup victory, when she decided the Moguls Competition for themselves. She participated in the Asian Winter Games in 2011 in part in the Kazakh city of Almaty and won both the Moguls as well as the dual moguls gold medal. Another gold medal was added in Jyväskylä at the Junior World Championship 2011.
