Geography

Yundum, in the West Coast Region District Kombo North on the south bank of the Gambia River, is located about ten kilometers south of Serekunda and about nine kilometers north of Brikama.

Culture and sights

In Yundum a historic tree as a place of worship under the name Yaramba and in Old Yundum a historic grove under the name Jantayi is known.
