Yves Béhar

Yves Béhar (born 1967 in Lausanne ) is a Swiss living in the U.S. industrial designer and in 1999 founded fuseproject, a resident of San Francisco design and branding firm. He is regarded as one of the leading industrial designers.

Life

Behar's mother is from East Germany and his father was a Turkish Jew. He studied industrial design at the first " Art Center College of Design", in La Tour -de- Peilz, Switzerland, and after a year in the Mother House in Pasadena, California, where he graduated with a degree in BSc of Industrial Design. He then worked for the company Frogdesign and Lunar Design, which developed products for companies such as Apple, Hewlett -Packard and Silicon Graphics. He designed in 2013 and the new uniform appearance of all the Nivea products.

He is Chairman of the Industrial Design Department at California College of the Arts.
